the vibe you wear
Indie, retro, unique; say what you please but Aubrey is too busy to mind. Her mind has always been elsewhere, and what her attire is merely a simple contribute to what she has to do. Constantly her clothing styles changed though, she did like things when she saw them; though not later on, that was just what she did. Standing at five foot seven she was a relatively short person, though her thin body and long legs make her look taller than she is. Her weight is a regular size, measuring in at 128; a little light for her age, though all natural.
A main part of her was her hair. When nervous she would constantly move her fingers through her hair, even though it was quite childish. Long black locks had always laid on her shoulders, keeping long hair since a young girl. She has bright wide blue-brown eyes on her slightly pale face, something that she loves to accent at most times. As quiet as this girl is, though, she does have quite a few scars; one lining along the bottom of her jaw from when she was eight at her birthday party and hit it on the side of her table, and quite a few on her hands from when she had fallen through a glass door when she was merely thirteen years old by her older brother, as well as a cut on her lower back from being pushed into a broken chair; by no one other than her brother.
Aubrey is known for being quite natural, though she knows when its her time to dress and look appropriate. She would hate to have words said about her - and that goes on many levels. She is a quite self-conscious girl and makes it very clear that she isn't up to impress anyone in fear of embarrassing herself in quite a few ways. Even with a few looks she is bound to say something degrading about herself - most of the time she likes to avoid the conversations of anything that includes talking about how she looks, though dolling up on special occasions is not uncommon. Although, when the times come, Aubrey can be a confident woman when it all falls down.
the last you took
While she is quite aware of the fact she doesn't talk much, she can be loud. She knows the way she doest talk is keeping her from living her life in the way she has to, especially with the way people in her town have to live. Even with the warning of losing her friends and most contact with others she just can't bring herself to go the extra mile. Her mind is too focused on the fact everything that she could make would be gone just as fast.
Aubrey does have her moments though, where she can spill her heart out in every way - even to a stranger. Everything she does is an "in the moment" thing, without thinking. Of course Aubrey wants to have the decency to care and think things through, but when people ask her things it hurts to hear herself say no. She doesn't want to make anyone upset with her answer or anything - though her confidence does come in small packages on few occasions.
Aubrey does more than care. If someone's in trouble she loves to be there right for them, even if she doesn't know the person. She couldn't be able to tell a lie without making it obvious and she would do mostly anything get on someones good side. Once Aubrey becomes comfortable with someone, though, she is more common to let out a few laughs and smiles; along with the odd sarcastic comment. And it is true, Aubrey pretty much has no back bone. If someone was to give her shit, Aubrey wouldn't quite know what to do without turning the other way and walk the other way. She was never one to start a fight much less yell about or with one.

reading your letter
Born to her parents who were eager to have another child they quickly took her home and prepared her to be a loud kid just like her brother, though they were surprised to notice she wasn't as loud as they were thinking. They took the blessing and continued on, though noticing the great change in differences between Aubrey and her brother. Wide eyed and ready Aubrey started to become more comfortable with surroundings, and from an early age loved the fact that nothing changed. That was until she moved to a new town, new faces, new places. Though that was a while before a lot of things.
Her middle school years were supposed to be her chance to shine - but they truly weren't. She again, stayed in the backgrounds just waiting for that one possible moment - but it never came along. And that tore her apart on the insides how no matter what she did. Friends weren't exactly an trouble for her, but it was just the academic part. Where she didn't only show the teachers or students around her, but herself. She just wanted to prove her could. And she was capable of it.
In grade eight, a boy decided to get extra close. Give her that little extra attention - and that grew to a lot of attention. She returned it and within the week she was almost so sure that she was in love. Not only romantically, but as in being around them, and they made you feel like you could do... Anything. And she loved it. His name was Ian Sims, a regular boy from school but she wouldn't of approached him in a billion years. It was just something about him when he talked to her that made her feel good about herself. He kept on doing it, and making her feel special. He didn't stop and neither did she - until this had been going on past the time he had asked her to be his girlfriend. She quickly accepted and they continued talking like best friends with of course a few more details into the mix. And then one day, she said she had to leaving. She had to move, and she didn't know when to tell him - so he left it till the day of. But the point was that either way she split it, she was still leaving. And gone. So she just didn't bother getting that close to anyone mostly in fear of them leaving, or dying.
The reason for leaving was quite simple; her parents just couldn't deal with it. They were short of money and her brother and her weren't even living with them and still they were worried. By the time Aubrey finished grade eight they moved out to here with her brother, and as flustered as she was it didn't take as hard as she thought she would. She continued to keep to herself and her activities away from anything that would get her "too involved"
Oddly, photography came easily to Aubrey. Just when her finger touched the lenses she knew right away that she wanted to cherish any moment that she couldn't. Any moment that she knew she was taking for granted. Any moment that she knew she would be taking for her mother and father who were there in spirit but not in the flesh - it just wasn't the same. First of flowers, it moved onto pictures of friends, and then other people, and then scenery. Anything around herself was a sight to behold for her and she took a hold of it as quick as possible. Even of the sick she tried her best to
